Sports Physical Therapist

  • Live4 Physical Therapy and Wellness is looking to hire a Sports Physical Therapist in our Acton, MA location to support our growth. Candidates who have experience in sports rehabilitation settings are encouraged to apply. Candidates should have interest in: ACL injury, post-surgical rehabilitation, holistic/wellness focused care, post-concussion care, primary and secondary injury prevention, strength and conditioning, and return to sport decision-making. Candidates will be expected to practice evidence-based and patient-centered care while developing and maintaining their own patient caseload.

  • Education

    Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)

    Experience

    Sports and/or orthopedic clinical settings

    Licenses and Certifications

    Current or eligible for PT licensure in Massachusetts

    Current CPR certification

    Clinical specialist certification encouraged

    Skills & Abilities

    Strong written & verbal communication

    Develops & maintains strong professional relationships

    Receptive to feedback & mentorship

    Networking & marketing experience

    Use of technology in clinical settings (e.g., electronic medical record, orthopedic assessment, etc.)

  • Patient care

    Provide 1:1 individualized sports physical therapy for athletes and active individuals

    Time to provide quality care and flexibility depending on PT and clients’ needs

    Paid documentation time

    Marketing/Networking

    Connect with local referral sources to support growth—e.g., healthcare professionals

    Attend marketing and networking events in the local community

    Participate in social media and digital marketing

    Full-time $100,000-130,000/year

    Live4 is a unique 1,500 sq. ft. open-concept facility located in Acton, MA (about 45 minutes west of Boston).

    Work with the best equipment the industry has to offer —e.g., Cardon treatment tables, Equipment by Keiser- Rogue-Assault-Exxentrics, dry needling, blood flow restriction, and more.

    Live4 is located within West Acton VillageWorks, a vibrant community of locally owned small businesses, including a coffee shop, brewery, yoga studio, barre studio, etc.

    Mentorship

    Owners, Sarah and Dave, are passionate about professional support, feedback, and guidance through peer-mentorship.

    We will work with the employee to develop professional goals and establish a plan to achieve goals, collaborate on complex client cases, critically appraise the literature through journal club discussions, and foster advanced clinical reasoning in sports physical therapy.

    Goal setting will be tied into opportunities for pay bonuses (see Bonus Structure for more information).

    Continuing Education

    Live4 values professional development and education/research contributions to the profession of physical therapy. Live4 will consider contributions to continuing education opportunities on a case by case basis.
